Member Scholarship Program

Every year, the California League of Food Producers (CLFP) awards scholarships to deserving university undergraduate students throughout the state of California. For the 2020-2021 academic year, 16 CLFP Member Scholarships were granted from the CLFP Scholarship Program for a total value of $14,000.

The success of this program is made possible due to the ongoing support of the CLFP Supplier Host Council and all of our members and industry friends who contribute so generously through their donations for and participation in the annual silent auction. We thank you for your support! CLFP has raised and awarded over $700,000 in scholarship funding since 1960.

Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2021-2022 Scholarship Program. The deadline was September 30, 2021.

University Donations

CLFP has a close working relationship with the Food Science and other departments at multiple California universities. For the 2020-2021 academic year, CLFP made donations directly to Food Science Clubs of six California universities. This donation will assist numerous students with the opportunity to partake in industry related activities that will advance their future. CLFP members look for the best and brightest new employees, and the following web site links will help your company find, recruit and hire top students for internships or jobs.
